Introducing Our New Sound Creation Feature
Soundbuttons started as a library of ready-to-play sound buttons. Today it becomes something more: a place where you can publish your own. Our new sound creation flow takes a clip from your computer to the community library in under two minutes — no audio editing experience required.
How it works
Open the upload page, sign in, and drop a file. We accept MP3, WAV, OGG, and M4A up to 10 MB — long enough for any reaction clip or punchline, short enough to load instantly for players. Add a title, a short description, where the sound comes from, and a few tags, then hit publish. Your clip appears immediately with its own play button, download link, and share sheet.
Why titles and tags matter
The sounds that get played are the ones people can find. Name a clip after the moment it is used for — a movie quote, a meme format, a stream moment — and tag it honestly. Clear metadata helps search engines surface your clip and helps other creators find it inside the library. You can edit all of it later from your uploads page.
Built-in quality checks
Every upload is scanned automatically. Clips that are corrupted, extremely loud, or flagged by the community are reviewed before they spread further. Our DMCA process covers takedown requests, and the terms of service spell out what belongs in the library. The goal is a catalog creators can trust enough to drop straight into a video.
Organize what you find and make
Creation pairs with curation. Favorite the clips you love, then group them into custom boards — a stream lineup, a Discord reaction pack, an editing kit. Boards can be shared with one link, so your whole team or community can play the same set.
Try it now
The upload flow is live for every account — registration is free and takes seconds with email, Google, or Discord. Grab that clip you always wished existed, publish it, and see how fast the community finds it.
